Ferencváros reach football Champions League group stage

After 25 years Hungarian football club Ferencváros returned to the Champions League group stage. Thanks for the goalless draw at Budapest (after a 3-3 draw in Norway), through on the away goal rule, Fradi won the qualifying playoffs.

Before the Norwegian champion Molde, Ferencváros defeated the Swedish Djurgardens (2-0 at home), the Scottish Celtic Glasgow (2-1 at away) and the Croatian Dinamo Zagreb (2-1 at home) as well.

Serhiy Rebrov's team is the third Hungarian football team in the Champions League group stage (after the 1995' Ferencváros and the 2009' Debrecen). At the last season Fradi participated in the UEFA Europa League group stage.
